Where am I again?

The answer, I think, is Tauranga, New Zealand. September was a month of travelling, with just one weekend of bookish things in between.
After our 3k-plus road trip to Port Douglas, I spent the weekend volunteering at the Eumundi Writers Festival, where I also had a Meet the Author spot. I caught up with author friends, Jane Smith and Anna Campbell, as well as listening to guest speakers such as ex-PM Kevin Rudd. I also met author Jack Roney, ex-detective turned crime writer (who'd-a-thought?)
Two days later, husband, myself and two friends set off for South Korea, Japan and Singapore. The nearly three weeks of fun and games, dramas and hijinks, took me to the end of September, when I continued on to New Zealand for my next three-month sojourn.
Here are some pics from Seoul and Busan, which culminated in husband's foot injury, requiring him to be on crutches for the rest of the trip!

We sailed the Camelia Line to Japan after a very quick and efficient Busan hospital visit, unlike what we would have received back home. Most impressive.
In Japan, we stayed in Kitakyushu, Hiroshima and Tokyo.
And then on to Singapore before heading back to Brisbane.
Now it's October, and I have no excuse not to get back into writing. I have a couple of author events, but not mine. Time to smell the lavender (see backyard photos).
Just a reminder that if you join my Facebook Author's page, you can get a free ebook from Bookfunnel this month of my latest novel, The Spirit Remains.
See you in a month, all going well. xo
