As of yesterday, April 29th, all the books in the 'Our Unbroken Spirits' series are available to purchase in both print and ebook form. The first two are also available as audiobooks. Just jump onto your usual platform and you should find them all.
So , where to now?
Tomorrow I head off to Hamilton (New Zealand) for the Ages of Pages book fair, which is getting bigger every year. There will be over 140 authors there to speak to and buy from. I have a half table, but perhaps next time I should get a full one. We'll see.
May is looking pretty full at this stage, so expect more blog photos than usual.
Next week I go to Colville for a week on the Coromandel Peninsular for a writers' retreat. I went last year, and it was an awesome experience in a beautiful part of New Zealand. I'll work on my prequel while enjoying the serenity.
Straight after that I head to Auckland for two birthday parties and the Auckland Writers' Festival.
I arrive back in Tauranga on the 17th for five days and then I'm spending two days with friends in Thames before my official book launch at the local library on the 24th.
Three days after that I fly back to Brisbane to the family!
There will be a bit of promotion while I'm there, with a radio interview (thank goodness for Zoom), a couple of magazine spots, and who knows what else?
I've done a Q&A for NZ Booklovers, and the magazine Mindfood wants to give away seven copies of 'The Spirit Remains', which should be good publicity.
It hasn't all been hard work, though. I've found time to spend with family who visited from Australia, and attended the annual Tauranga Jazz Festival amongst other things, such as the weekly quiz night at my local and going to the cinema.
I've listened to a few more audiobooks too, including more from Jean Grainger and Paul Cleave. One that stands out is 'The Last Secret Agent', a true story by a New Zealand writer, Pippa Latour Doyle, who was a special agent in France during WW2. It's well worth a read (or a listen).
That's it for April. Don't forget to tune in next month, and if you decide you like one of my books, I would love it if you could take the trouble to give it a review on Goodreads or wherever you like.
Arohanui for now.
